17.20 น. เนชั่นทีวีรายงานว่า NBT ขอนแก่นถูกเผาแล้ว
16.15 น.โทรทัศน์รวมการเฉพาะกิจเผยแพร่ประกาศเคอร์ฟิวส์ห้ามประชาชนออกจากบ้าน
20.00 น.วันนี้ ถึง 06.00 น.20 พ.ค.53
ในพื้นที่ประกาศสถานการณ์ฉุกเฉินและพื้นที่ตามประกาศ รวมกว่า 20 จังหวัด
ลงนามโดยนายกรัฐมนตรี
14.00 น. ศอฉ. แถลงหลังยึดสวนลุมพินี ได้กระชับวงล้อมแยกสามย่าน
อังรีดูนังต์ ประตูน้ำ
ระหว่างนั้นกลุ่มก่อการร้ายสร้างสถานการณ์สร้างความเสียหายอย่างมาก
ศอฉ.จำเป็นต้องจัดเจ้าหน้าที่รุกคืบหน้าต่อไป 13.45 น.ก็สามารถเข้ากดดัน
ทำให้กลุ่มแกนนำก่อการร้ายบนเวทีหยุดการชุมนุม ประกาศขอเข้ามอบตัว ศอฉ.
สามารถควบคุมสถานการณ์ในภาพรวมไว้ได้แล้ว
พยายามอำนวยความสะดวกแก่ประชาชนในการเดินทางสู่ภูมิลำเนา
ขอให้ไปรวมกันที่สนามกีฬา ลำดับต่อไปจะดำเนินการควบคุมตัวแกนนำ
ขณะนี้ทหาร ตำรวจหยุดปฏิบัติการในภาพรวมแล้ว
และได้เปิดเส้นทางให้ประชาชนเดินทางกลับบ้านทางแยกปทุมวัน

หลังจากแกนนำประกาศสลายการชุมนุมและเข้ามอบตัวได้มีเอ็ม 79 ยิงลงมา 4
ลูกและทำให้ทหารได้รับบาดเจ็บ 3-4 นาย 13.47 น.
หลังแกนเข้ามอบตัวบริเวณราชประสงค์ ผุ้ชุมนุมบางส่วนซึ่งมีอารมณ์โกรธแค้น
เข้าทุบกระจกห้างเกษรพลาซ่า
และเกิดเพลิงไหม้ขึ้นบริเวณหน้าห้างเซ็นทรัลเวิรลด์
เกิดเสียงระเบิดดังขึ้นเป็นระยะๆ ขณะที่หลายคนหนีเข้าไปหลบรพ.ตำรวจ
