นายกฯ เฉ่งกาชาดส่งอาหารช่วยม็อบทำชุมนุมยืดเยื้อ

นายกฯสวดสภากาชาดกลาง ครม. โวยนำอาหารไปมอบให้ผู้ชุมนุม เท่ากับช่วยต่ออายุม็อบแดง  ด้าน “สุเทพ” เซ็งนำคนแก่กับเด็กไปพักที่วัด ช่วยอำนวยความสะดวกให้มีที่พักพิง  แต่กลับเข้าไปชุมนุมใหม่ในช่วงค่ำ กำชับพื้นที่ต่างจังหวัดระวังก่อเหตุวินาศกรรม 

ที่กรมทหารราบ ที่ 11 รักษาพระองค์ เมื่อวันที่ 18 พ.ค. นายศุภชัย ใจสมุทร รองโฆษกประจำสำนักนายกรัฐมนตรี แถลงผลการประชุมคณะรัฐมนตรี ว่า นายอภิสิทธิ์ เวชชาชีวะ นายกรัฐมนตรี ชี้แจงต่อ ครม.ว่า ต้องการให้บ้านเมืองเข้าสู่ความสงบสันติโดยเร็ว เพราะเวลานี้มีองค์กรระหว่างประเทศพยายามเข้ามาให้ความช่วยเหลือ อย่างไรก็ตามการที่สภากาชาดไทยเข้าไปช่วยเหลือผู้ชุมนุม โดยนำอาหารไปสนับสนุนให้ผู้ชุมนุม เท่ากับเป็นการต่ออายุให้การชุมนุมยืดเยื้อ เป็นผลเสียในการแก้ปัญหา แต่การให้การชุมนุมยุติโดยเร็ว ไม่ให้ยืดเยื้อเป็นการแก้ปัญหาที่ดีที่สุด จึงต้องอธิบายให้องค์กรสากลเหล่านี้เข้าใจ และยืนยันว่า ถ้ามีการยุติการชุมนุมก็พร้อมจะพูดคุยเพื่อสร้างความปรองดอง และยังขอความร่วมมือให้พรรคร่วมรัฐบาลไปทำความเข้าใจกับ ส.ส. เพื่อช่วยชี้แจงให้ประชาชนเข้าใจถึงสถานการณ์ในขณะนี้ และกำชับให้รัฐมนตรีช่วยชี้แจงสถานการณ์ต่างๆ พร้อมให้ช่วยแวะเวียนมาที่กรมทหารราบที่ 11 รักษาพระองค์ เพื่อรับฟังคำสั่งจากนายกฯด้วย

Thai PM openly condemned the National Red Cross Council in the ministerial meeting. He said that the Red Cross helped to extend the protesting by giving them food and ration. Also Deputy-PM said to be feeling awkward for the temple that allow elders and children to take refuge, because they will join back the protesting at night.

18 May 2010, at the 11th Infantry Regiment, Suppachai Jaisamut, deputy spokesperson of the PM office report the result of ministerial meeting. PM Abhisit said that he wanted the situation to be resolve peacefully because, at the moment, there are many international organizations that would like to help relieve the situation. However, the situation is deteriorating as Thai Red Cross have given food and ration to the protesters. We have to explain to those organizations that the only way out is for the protesters to end the protesting immediately. The government would like to reassure that as soon as the protestor stop protesting, there will exist the reconciliation process.
