Thai protesters defy government orders to leave camp

The deadline for anti-government protesters to leave their fortified camp in Bangkok has passed, but there is no sign of an end to the crisis.
Protesters, many of them women, continued to clap and cheer speakers on stage in the centre of their camp as the deadline passed.
Soldiers have been shooting live rounds to keep protesters at a distance as one government minister said the operation to "seal the area" would continue.
Rachel Harvey reports from Bangkok.
